Reading Recap, week 39
More print than audio!
Audiobooks
I had another driver with me at work this week so I had my earbud out for most of the time. I did manage to read THE FIVE POINTS RIPPER by Larry Correia, which is the third in his Lost Planet Homicide series. It was cool. I hope we don’t have to wait two more years for the next one.
Print and Comics
DESTRO #4 came out and it was technically speaking “a comic” but not as offensive bad as SCARLETT. I’m really burning out here and looking forward to this being done. The Energon Universe needs to get exciting again, like it was a year ago.
That said, I finally read four comics I purchased in Pennsylvania in 2021, and shot a video out in the shop to review them all.
I was reading a print book by Elmore Leonard but I tossed it aside because of excessive sexual content. I’m probably done with Leonard at this point. Too many of his books have gone that way. Sucks, because he was otherwise talented. Now I’m working on a Mayflower book that my brother got me for my birthday.
Next Week
I’m going to pick through the Frank Herbert biography written by his son and hopefully get that finished. I have one or two more audiobooks I’d like to finish in that time including a Speechify piece. We’re almost into October!
