Reading Recap, week 37
A glut of comics and such
Audiobooks
A MOVEABLE FEAST, FARMER IN THE SKY, and WRITTEN OUT OF HISTORY. Each of these got videos (click links). Of the three, FARMER was the most interesting, WRITTEN gave me the most to research further, and FEAST had great tidbits of wisdom in it.
Print and Comics
SCARLETT #4 is back on that [expletive], as I explained in this video.
Meanwhile ROOK EXODUS #5 was sooooo good, I really need to do a video on that whole series. Probably get to that this month to hype it up for issue 6.
I also received some comics from a crowdfunding campaign that I backed over two years ago. They were just okay, on the good side of three stars, a nice little genre love-letter that I accidentally read out of order. It’s fun to do that from time to time though, just to see if you can still follow what’s going on.
And I got to read a few more chapters of THE SILMARILLION for the series I’m doing here, newest installment goes up tomorrow.
Next Week
Walter Jon Williams has a pirate series and I’ve liked the other books by him that I have read, so I’ll try that one out. I think this week’s comics are Geiger and Transformers, or maybe Transformers and Redcoat, we’ll see.
