Reading Recap, week 30
Climbing out of the slog
Audiobooks
Last two weeks have been kind of slow in the realm of audiobooks. I finished TO THE FAR BLUE MOUNTAINS by L'Amour and PATRIOT PIRATES by Patton, along with GO LIKE HELL by Baume. All three got videos on the channel.
Print and Comics
This week we got new issues of DESTRO and REDCOAT. In the former, Destro escalates his conflict with the twin brothers Xamot and Tomax. Mid, but it's better than SCARLETT.
REDCOAT lives up to its name by taking a negative view of George Washington, but at least does it in a well-written way consistent with the worldbuilding. So far Geoff Johns hasn’t disappointed me as a writer so I hope he doesn’t pull any BS with this series.
Speaking of Johns, I read the TPB of GEIGER which includes a bunch of old issues I wasn’t familiar with.
This comic is freaking awesome. Gonna do a video for it soon.
That's all for this week.
