OTD in History: Yosemite

Jumping ahead from the Revolution, on October 1, 1890, President Benjamin Harrison formally created Yosemite National Park. This one features El Capitan, among other famous climbing sites.

Beautiful park, if you've never been. Conservation is cool and good and we should do it often.
