Sorry for dozing the last few days, I’m coming back from vacation brain. I saw a billboard today in OKC that had an almanac installment and I was like oh yeah, I didn’t put anything up for Substack this week. Oops.
Well, on October 14th, 1968, according to this billboard, Apollo 7 made the first ever black-and-wide TV broadcast from space to Earth after achieving orbit. The Soviets beat us to the space beyond our atmosphere but we beat them to everything else cool. That and our country still exists, so yeah, suck it commies.
