If you check Amazon, this is not the cover for my novel SLEEPLESS HOLLOW. I was learning digital illustration in 2020 when I drew this version for the audio edition on my old podcast.
I still have those audio files and I'm working on making them into a full file that will be available both here and on YouTube, so you can read the most Halloween-centric book in my oeuvre. But it's a Graham book, so it's heavily reliant on AmRev history and also does a little time travel. Plus the Headless Horseman has a minigun.
Anyway, I had an AI punch up the cover, which I will use as a template to eventually improve the paperback. No rush, I just thought this looked cool.
Digital art pops hard compared to my traditional work, and using AI in the iterative stage is helping me see how to improve my technique.
Go read the book! Or stay tuned for the audio.
