Sorry I was late on this one.
“Julen Har Bragt Velsignet Bud” is a cherished carol from Denmark, and translates to “Christmas Has Brought Blessed News.” The lyrics date back to the 1820s, and the music (I think) came sometime after. I found a translation of the lyrics here, it’s kind of like “The Holly and the Ivy” in that it lists the lovely things about Christmas. The difference is that they’re more Christ-centric than the popular trappings of Christmas we use for decorations.
